Vision 2030 @ Culture v Covid Exhibition
The official opening of the ‘Culture v Covid’ took place on Tuesday 4th May at the John Mackintosh Hall. The exhibition, organised by Gibraltar Cultural Services, showcases artistic and cultural works produced in the context of the global pandemic and the multiple lockdowns locally.
A selection of the Visions for Gibraltar 2030, submitted as part of this year’s Earth Hour campaign will also feature. The 2021 Earth Hour campaign was an initiative of the Office of the Commissioner for Sustainable Development and Future Generations which took place during the month of March. On display are posters from local school children, LEGO models, poetry, 3D models, and a number of the video submissions.
Members of the community were asked to capture their visions and hopes for a more sustainable Gibraltar in 2030. These were depicted in a variety of media and shared via social media.
The exhibition can be viewed at the John Mackintosh Hall from 09:00- 19:00 and entry is free.
