GIBRALTAR PARTNERS WITH WALES OFFICE FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS
The Future Generations Leadership Academy is a partnership programme led by the Future Generations Commissioner for Wales, Sophie Howe.
In order to achieve the aspirations of the Welsh Future Generations Act, the Welsh Commissioner has set 6 priority areas for her term. One of those priority areas is ‘skills for the future.’ This programme will support young people with opportunities to learn and enhance their skills, to ensure we have strong leadership in Wales today and in the future. This ambitious and innovative 10-month programme will see partners from across Wales’ public, private and third sector collaborate to support 21 young leaders. The intention is to promote cross sector collaboration by enabling existing leaders in Wales to connect with and learn from the next generation of leaders, to build a pool of young leaders in Wales who have the right skills for the future.
Gibraltar's Commissoner for Sustainable Development and Future Generations, Prof Daniella Tilbury, contributed to the programme which received much positive feedback:
