Egpyt is currently hosting the 2022 United Nations Climate Change Conference, more commonly referred to as Conference of the Parties of the UNFCCC. The CoP is being held from 6 November until 18 November in Sharm-El-Sheikh and under the presidency of Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs with more than 90 heads of state and representatives of 190 countries expected to attend. The conference has been held annually since the first UN Climate Agreement (1992). It is a platform for governments to agree on policies to agree on mitigation and adaptation actions as well as finance to address and limit the impact of climate change.

She has acted as an advisor to governments in regard to climate education and is speaking at various events that are focused on future generations and their rights. On the 18th November she will be contributing to an official event of the Mediterranean region, providing insights as an expert in this field. The events are live streamed and recorded sessions can also be accessed via you tube.
